SPRINGFIELD CITY EMPLOYEES WEAR PINK AND DENIM TO RAISE MONEY IN SUPPORT OF RAYS OF HOPE
Springfield City employees wore pink and denim on Friday, October 23rd in support of Rays of Hope. Rays of Hope has raised millions of dollars to improve the breast health of people in our community.
Rays of Hope provides funding to breast health programs at Baystate Regional Cancer Program’s Comprehensive Breast Center as well as the breast cancer care programs at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Baystate Mary Lane Hospital and several community organizations, including Cancer House of Hope and Cancer Connection.
The annual Rays of Hope walk took place in Forest Park on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009.
