041 - Request for Qualifications for Construction Management Services for R.L. Putnam VTHS
End date: Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 2 p.m.This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to produce a minimum of three experienced firms, DCAM certified for General Building Construction, to be qualified to receive an RFP to manage the new Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School project. The worth of the contract is estimated at $100,000,000. The Putnam project is estimated at $125,000,000. This Request is governed by M.G.L. c.149A and the Construction Reform Act of 2004 (c.193). The project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2009 and to be ready no later than July of 2012.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
