10-008 - Price Agreement for Services of Journeymen Electricians
End date: Wednesday October 7, 2009 at 2 p.m.The City intends to contract with up to three qualified companies to supply the services of Massachusetts licensed journeymen electricians for maintenance and repair at City properties on-call for the Facilities division and other City departments for an initial period of one year. The City retains the option to renew the contracts for up to two additional years.
A shipping and handling fee of $25 in the form of a bank or certified check or money order to the Department of Purchase is required of parties requesting the package to be mailed.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
