SPG-13-021 - Preventative Maintenance and Repairs for Pool Air Handling and Dehumidification Systems
End date: Thursday July 19, 2012 at 2 p.m.The City of Springfield through its Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management is soliciting this bid for a vendor to provide preventative maintenance and repairs of pool air handling and dehumidification systems located at its various swimming pools around the City. This service also requires the contractor to provide written inspections, reports, and recommendations.
All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women-owned business enterprises ("MWBE") and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City's goal of twenty (20%) percent MWBE participation.
Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge through two channels beginning Wednesday, July 4, 2012:
1. Online at www.comm-pass.com by selecting the Solicitation tab and using the Browse All Open by Entity (City of Springfield) option at any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
2. In person at the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 during normal business days, Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 149.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
