SPG-13-069 - DPW Generator Work
End date: Friday August 31, 2012 at 2 p.m.Sealed bids for a Prime/General Contractor contract are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 39M. The Project includes but is not limited to proving standby power to the elevator and two distribution panels which will place the entire facility on standby power. The work is estimated to cost $55,000.00
A site visit has been scheduled for July 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Department of Public Works, 70 Tapley Street, Springfield, MA. All inquiries should refer to the bid number and the opening date of the project.

or may be picked up in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103.
Bids will be accepted at the Office of Procurement (Room 307 City Hall) until 2:00 PM on August 30, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond that is payable to the City of Springfield.
The City of Springfield supports a goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so.
