The Neighborhood Economic Recovery fund has been allocated $12 million in ARPA funding to ensure that neighborhood businesses and institutions, which are at the core of neighborhood life, have the resources to not simply recovery from the impacts of the pandemic, but to partner with the City towards ensuring Springfield's neighbrhood centers and the surrounding area include sufficient housing choices, pedestrian and complete streets infrastructure, shopping and services, fresh food accessibility, health care, parks, office space, have easy access to educational, community and cultural programming with an intentional focus on disproportionately impacted communities, equity and inclusion.

Virtual Technical Assistance Workshops will be held to assist applicants in how to fill out the application and a question and answer session will be held as follows:
